This past weekend has been busy.
Or is it just an excuse for having skipped three days of my diary entries?
I’ve got a good report though.
On Friday I boarded a plane from Athens Greece headed to Stockholm Sweden. Just for the sole purpose of being on stage. Someone had seen it fit for me that I should be the person with the mic saying what’s to happen next in the program. I had been given an opportunity to be an MC in the Rumbling WaterSound International gospel concert. I have always officiated events in my locality - wherever I find myself - but it never occurred to me that someday someone across borders would need my services and get me on a plane for that purpose. Or should I phrase that differently? I have been doing it locally but every imagination I have had of doing it abroad could appear as fantasy. Now it was happening in reality.
With the backing of God, that is what speaking can do. I thank God and I thank Esther for the opportunity. God uses people to speak life into others.
I enjoyed Stockholm being my first time there.
The people were just wonderful.
In the concert, many of the performers and visitors were from abroad as well, including Africa, Britain, the US and several other countries in Europe. This gave us an opportunity to network far and wide creating a bigger potential for future engagements.
We really were blessed by the music and every spoken word shared.
Just before the concert on Saturday, I was called for an impromptu talk show interview that made me feel at the top of the world. Thank you Lisa for Truth Talk.
During my stay, I made some new friends, some which felt like we’ve been lifetime friends, my namesake Tony feeling like a long lost brother.
I also met old friends that we’ve not been with for decades. It had been 30 years since I last saw John in high school even though we’ve been connected online. The mic brought us back together across borders. John was a major force in this opportunity. Thank you John.
As a proverb from my tribe says, “People are Wealth”. That being said, John is Gold.
I loved every part of this experience and look for bigger opportunities ahead.
Dreams Come True.
Thank you Lord.
