On my speaking journey, I’ve had the pleasure of being on several different stages in different parts of the world. Every other stage has it’s own feel.
I’ve always enjoyed every chance to hold the mic and impact the audience in one way or the other. Always looking forward to the next opportunity.
I still have places that I would love to be in, giving a speech or holding a workshop. Dreams come true. Many of my dreams have come true and I believe many more will.
In the Achieve Your Dream workbook which I use to work on my dreams and achieve them, it starts by asking you to write down your dream.
Writing down your dream is important for several reasons:
1. Clarity and Focus:
It helps clarify your thoughts and desires.
It forces you to articulate exactly what you want to achieve, which can provide a clearer sense of direction and focus.
2. Commitment:
Putting your dreams on paper signifies a commitment to yourself. It's a concrete step towards making your aspirations a reality, rather than just keeping them as vague thoughts or wishes.
3. Memory Enhancement:
When you document your dreams, you're more likely to remember them later, which can be valuable for reflection and planning.
4. Accountability:
Having your dreams written down creates a sense of accountability. It's a tangible reminder of what you're striving for, and it holds you accountable for taking action towards your goals.
5. Visualization and Manifestation:
The act of writing can help you imagine yourself achieving your goals, making them feel more attainable and real. This can contribute to the manifestation of your dreams into reality.
6. Organization and Planning:
Documenting helps you organize your thoughts and develop a plan of action. It enables you to break down your goals into smaller, actionable steps, making them more manageable and achievable.
7. Motivation and Inspiration:
Reviewing your written dreams can serve as a source of motivation and inspiration. Seeing your goals written down can reignite your passion and remind you of why you're working towards them, especially during times of doubt or adversity.
8. Tracking Progress:
In every area of your life it is important to track your progress over time. You can revisit your written goals periodically to assess how far you've come and make any necessary adjustments to your plans.
9. Creativity and Brainstorming:
Documenting your dreams can spark creativity and encourage brainstorming. Writing allows you to explore different ideas and possibilities, leading to innovative solutions and approaches for achieving your goals.
10. Self-Reflection and Growth:
Reviewing your written dreams provides an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth. It allows you to evaluate your values, aspirations, and priorities, and to make adjustments as needed to align with your evolving goals and aspirations.
Having said that, the question is…. Do you have a dream stage? Have you written it down somewhere? If possible, have a photo of that stage attached to it. This enhances it more. If possible, share it with us about it in the comments. You never know who’s watching and could connect you to your big dream.
Wishing you all success.
