Why this Substack
To speak often and write often with public accountability.
Beginnings are hard.
I am a motivational speaker but I don't speak often. I am an author but I don't write often. The purpose of starting this is as a commitment to do these two consistently with public accountability. It was not an easy decision to make it public but time will tell whether it’s a worthy cause.
1. Why this, why now
There is never a perfect time for anything. If I don’t do it now I may never know what could be.
2. What kind of community are you looking to build here
It’s my diary. The people I would expect here are ones who could need some inspiration in growing their speaking and authorship career.
3. Be specific
I plan to be posting daily my search for speaking gigs. My writing here will count towards the famous authors daily word count. Some content will be free for all but some will be through subscription. Not sure yet what will be and what won’t be. Let’s start the journey.
